Established in 1980 on a secluded stretch of Mediterranean shore, Royaltropichideaway was conceived for guests who judge a place by how it makes them feel, not by what it displays. We began with six rooms, a kitchen, and a modest bar. Today we hold 100 keys, three restaurants and two private gaming salons, yet the original kitchen still serves dinner each evening.
From the casino floors to the spa terraces, every space and every ritual is shaped by people who have devoted their lives to hospitality. Our head sommelier has been with us for many years. Continuity is not a slogan for us; it is the whole philosophy.
Every guide that matters has awarded us five stars, but the recognition we treasure most is the one we cannot hang on a wall: more than 65 percent of our reservations each year come from returning guests. That is the sole figure we track.
Worth knowing
Can you host private events?+
Yes. Our two ballrooms, eight private dining rooms, beach pavilion, and rotunda may be hired privately, accommodating from eight to four hundred guests. Weddings and milestone celebrations are especially dear to us; our events director will prepare a proposal within forty-eight hours of an initial enquiry.
What is your cancellation policy?+
Reservations may be cancelled without charge up to fourteen days before arrival. Cancellations within fourteen days incur a charge for the first night; no-shows are charged the full stay. Suites and villas booked under our Best Available Rate may be cancelled until 48 hours before arrival. We always recommend travel insurance.
Are pets welcome?+
Selected ground-floor suites and our Garden Villas accept pets on request, with a one-off cleaning charge added to your stay. We provide a complimentary welcome amenity for your dog (bed, bowls, treats), a walking service twice daily, and grooming on request. Cats are welcome in carriers but our suites do not have litter facilities — please advise us in advance.
Do you offer airport transfers?+
Yes. Private transfers in a chauffeured Mercedes or Rolls-Royce may be arranged when you book your stay, or up to two hours before arrival. For guests in a particular hurry, our helipad operates from 07:00 to 22:00, with a twelve-minute flight from the international airport. Both services may be charged to your suite.

Jazz evenings in the main bar, headline performers in the rotunda, and intimate lounge sets four nights a week. The Thursday pianist has been with us for years. Some guests travel here solely to hear him play.
